Is Cabo a Good Place for Scuba Diving?

Cabo is widely known for being a home for a wide rage of marine wildlife, making it a perfect location for scuba diving. 

The Ocean Wildlife

While scuba diving in Cabo you can encounter with: eels, stingrays, puffers, trumpetfish, seahorses, bennies, and so much more. Apart from this, beautiful reefs and corals are also in the view.

  • Pelican Rock is home to seahorses, moray eels, octopuses, and blennies that feed around the reef.
  • Neptune’s Finger is home to banded guitarfish and rays during the spring and schools of fish and sea fans throughout the year.
  • Land’s End is home to sea lions, Comorans, vast schools of baitfish, pelagic fish, and more. Land’s End is a must-see for anyone interested in the marine wildlife creatures.
  • Gordo Banks is where you will find hammerhead sharks

The Water Temperature

If you are one of those people that are limited because of cold water, you don’t need to worry about that in Cabo. Waters in Cabo keep a warm temperature the whole year.

During the months of January and February is when you can encounter with the coldest water temperatures of the year. However, you get a visibility of 20 feet on these cold days.
